Texas Longhorns - Why did we choose Longhorns?

The Texas Longhorn, renowned for its impressive horns that can stretch up to seven feet, is more than just a symbol of the Lone Star State; it's a testament to endurance and adaptability.

These cattle are celebrated for their docile nature, making them easy to handle and a favorite among ranchers. Not only are they strikingly beautiful, but their lean beef is also highly prized for being lower in fat while still retaining rich flavor, making Texas Longhorns an excellent choice for both ranching and dining.

Embracing Texas Longhorns means embracing a unique blend of history, ranching tradition, and culinary excellence.

Cows and Heifers For Sale

L

Marbles
$1,500 (cow alone)
$2000 (cow + 2026 calf)
$2500 (cow, calf + bred for 2027 spring calf)

Marbles was set for the beef market when we grabbed her.  Her gruella colored coat caught our eye and we overlooked the frostbitten horns.    She has excellent genetics, don't let the funky horns be a deterrant to this sweet girl.

Foundation Females - Our breeding herd

We spent years curating our foundation herd.  We've travelled the country seeking out "just the right one" from breeders.  We believe in having a smaller herd of high quality cows.

Herd Sires - Our breeding herd

Because bulls contribute to 50% of our next years DNA, we carefully consider our herd sires for more than just looks.  And because a bull can weigh up to 2,500 pounds with horns 100" wide we consider personality TOP priority.
